This is a great sink for a small bathroom. Obviously it doesn’t have any storage beneath it, but it looks great installed as you can see. It was very easy to install simple silicone caulking around the top of the sink finished it off. I was able to install it myself and I’m a very very novice. Do it yourself type of person. The only thing about installing it yourself is that it is quite heavy. 10 out of 10 though definitely recommend.
What an elegant change this China pedestal sink has made for my drab water closet. It was super easy to install, with just 2 lag bolts that were supplied with the sink. And I love that all the plumbing is hidden behind the hollowed base. Make sure you seal the base to the floor and the sink top to the base for added support, in case the base should somehow get kicked hard. The top would still be supported by the lags,but the base could possibly fall over if not sealed with a caulking adhesive. Also, be sure to wipe the chrome overflow regularly too keep it from corrosion, like I’ve seen on other sinks. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the simple beauty and ease of cleaning this vanity. And unlike wooden vanities, this will last as long as you want it too, assuming you keep it clean.
This little pedestal sink is awesome. I love it it fits perfectly in my half bathroom. I totally recommend this if you have a small bathroom like mine were you need to save room. I added a modification to the sink for securing it to the wall. I added a 3/4 inch piece of plywood to mount the sink. This added a strong mounting mechanism for the sink. I still to paint the walls. The pedestal sink doesn’t come with a faucet.
This Pedestal sink was a perfect compliment for our small 1/2 bath. Our original Kohler pedestal sink was actually to large for the space so we looked for a smaller sink, this was the perfect size. The finish and quality is top notch for a non none brand. Extremely happy customer.
Obviously when you’re working with a small space, a pedestal sink is definitely the way to go. This sink looks really clean – smooth lines, nice clear white color, and a wide and open sink basin that makes it easy to keep water contained and not dripping down the sides. The top has one single opening for a faucet, so keep that in mind when picking your faucet style to go with it, and I do really appreciate the built in “drain divots” on both sides of the faucet to allow splashes to run back into the sink instead of off the edge! The pedestal base is sturdy, but I did struggle a bit with lining up the base into the moulded groove along the bottom of the sink basin. Seemed to not fit quite right and took quite a few adjustments to get it to not wobble. However, once lined up, the sink looks clean and works exactly as needed for a small powder room bath!
The 20 inch wide x 17 inch D semi – circular glossy white pedestal sink for small bathrooms with overflow and one hole base for sink faucet is designed extremely well and the quality is excellent. The sink did take me about 2 hours to install it as the water lines need to fit into the sink pedestal and I had to move one of my water valves to fit inside the base. The sink is around 45 pounds total weight and the fasteners you need to install this sink come in the box and you will need to hang the sink on your wall studs to prevent it from falling off the wall.
