I really wanted to give this item a full 5-star rating — and it came very close. It’s the perfect size for a family bathroom, has a lovely appearance, and the surface finish is excellent: smooth, even, and free from any blemishes or paint runs. The design is also very smart, with a built-in overflow that’s both practical and well thought out. The only reason I held back from giving it a full five stars is a minor issue — there was a slight unevenness at the bottom of the unit. That said, it’s barely noticeable and easily fixed during installation. I’ll be sealing around it with caulking anyway, so it won’t be a problem at all. Perhaps I’m just being a bit picky! Waiting for the vessel sink faucets to arrive and can’t wait to finish the installation. Also, a big shout-out to the manufacturer. I like the sink it’s not too high and it’s definitely not too low. There is a bulb out at the center exit of the sink. Normally these things are flat because your tailpiece is protruding you will have to modify your countertop to a slightly wider hole than the tail piece size. You don’t have to make a complete larger hole but you would have to recess the first quarter inch of the countertop so this thing will sit flush and flat. I opted to shim mine. There is so little clear and underneath that you wouldn’t even notice the shims unless you went under there with a flashlight and a microscope. But keep in mind if you do not recess the top portion of the sink outlet on the countertop it will not sit flush and it will have the potential to swing left and right. Although the sink is pretty basic it will take a little more advanced thought processes while setting it on top of a flat countertop
